February 29, 2008 Special congratulation to Thomas Cheney and fiancée, Roxanna, in the birth of their first child Emily Larin Cheney. She was 7lbs 5 oz and 19 inches.
January 2, 2008 Welcome to Kevin Hall, Andrew Phillips and Linda Pudina the newest members of our field staff.
October 26, 2007 Thomas Cheney passed the North Carolina Professional Land Surveyors Exam.  We are currently in the process of registering the corporation in North Carolina.
September 4, 2007 Troy Gains will be utilizing his 22 years of experience as our newest Survey Technician.
June 7, 2007 Congratulations to Gordon Holland, he has earned a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the American Poolplayers Association's National Team Championship Tournament.
June 4, 2007 TLS will be upgrading our CAD package to AutoCAD2008 and Eagle Point 2007

Jarrod Spohn, an Army combat veteran, has a strong background in survey fieldwork.

Bradley Matte served in the United Stated Navy and is pursuing his education in surveying.

Bill Bruce, completed his freshman year at Virginia Tech and will be gaining valuable experience with us for the Summer.

September 13, 2006 Gordon Holland, party chief and TLS team member for three years married Heather F. Sooth, on Yorktown Beach. Congratulations to the happy couple!
September 5, 2006 Welcome, Lonnie Childress to the TLS Family. Lonnie brings over 15 years of experience in the surveying industry to our team.
September 3, 2006 Gary C. Thomas, LS completed the Rock-N-Roll Half Marathon, with his son Brian. Gary’s time was 3 hours 20 minutes and 50 seconds, Brian’s time was slightly better. Congratulations to both.
July 8, 2006 TLS took delivery of two Trimble S6 Robotic Stations. This now brings us to a total of three field crews using robotic stations, which allows us to serve our clients more efficiently. 
March 13, 2006 Welcome, Sean Bollinger to the TLS Team. Sean comes to us from the United States Marine Corps, where he served three combat tours.
